Why is signup invite-only right now?

We're still in beta. The allow-list keeps load low while we stabilize. Contact the Brainiac team and we'll add your email.

What data does Brainiac store?

How does Brainiac rank experts?

Brainiac describes experts with traceable tags, not a score. Each candidate carries tag chips drawn from their profile — role, region, and evidence of the specific experience your query asked for — and every claim on a card cites the source it came from. Skim the tags and follow the citations to decide.

Can I edit my role after signup?

Your pick at signup (Private Markets, Public Markets, Search Fund, Consultant, Expert) sets your sub-type. Changing your actual role — for example adding Expert privileges — needs an admin, so email us and we'll flip it.

How do I delete my data?

Email hello@trybrainiac.com. Soft-delete is immediate; hard-delete within 30 days. Some processor logs may persist longer under their retention terms.

Are calls recorded and transcribed?

Yes, and you consent before it happens. When a call is recorded:

• A bot named "Brainiac Notes (recording)" appears in the participant list.
• Audio and video are recorded, and AI generates a transcript.
• Both you and the expert receive the transcript afterwards.
• Recordings are retained for 12 months.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet — Brainiac runs in the browser.
